Resistance

Dear colleges,

We are pleased to inform you that at the end of last year under the auspices of the Ukrainian association of infection control and antimicrobial resistance have been created the Ukrainian National Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing Committee (Ukrainian Committee Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing – UCAST). The first meeting UCAST) was held in December 2015. This will allow our committee to participate in EUCAST more effective.
We have developed five recommendations which were approved by the Ministry of Health and implemented in hospitals. We have also published more than 250 scientific articles, 20 books, including manual guides and monographs. Every year we conduct the international conference dedicated to infection control and antimicrobial resistance.
